Asino Foundation for Oncological Neurosurgery
Research projects
ASINO has sought to promote neurosurgical oncology starting with the training of neurosurgeons. Neuro-oncological research is our mission.
Research projects must respond to internal guidelines decided by the Governing and Scientific Council.
- Training and teaching through 'one-to-one' training involving simulation centres, anatomical dissection courses, clinical activity and research.
- Annual fellowships at national and international societies
- Research in Neuro-oncology, giving weight to the originality of the project and also to possible developments. Both basic and clinical research are discussed.
- Participation in major hospital groups for international research institutes: many large hospital groups have built research centres by involving foundations. This is one way in which they can be helpful in achieving important goals.
