SINch Scholarship

During the 71st National Congress of the Italian Neurosurgical Society held from 13 to 15 October 2022 in Naples, the Asino Foundation Scholarship for Oncological Neurosurgery was awarded to Dr. Marco Riva: Researcher (Assistant Professor) at the Humanitas University and Neurosurgeon, IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital). The prize, reserved for specialists in Neurosurgery registered with the SINch and aged no more than 40, consists of a cheque for € 5000.00.

The aim of the award is to support the professional development of a young neurosurgeon by directing the planning of a training internship on the basis of documented personal skills.

The Selection Committee consists of the Presidential Committee of the Board of Directors of the Italian Society of Neurosurgery, the head of the Neuro-Oncology Section of the SINch and a representative of the Scientific Committee of the ASINO Foundation.

The prize is awarded on the basis of the candidates' CVs, with a focus on work published in the last three years in the field of neuro-oncology and research, taking into account the originality and perspective of the work produced.
