Asino Foundation for Oncological Neurosurgery
Global Training Project

The Global Training Project was created with the aim of providing the same training opportunities worldwide.
The traditional training of a neurosurgeon requires the use of cadavers and it is extremely expensive. In large areas of the world, this represents a limit to the possibilities of young neurosurgeons to train and practise.
The Global Training Project will enable the birth of a new generation of highly trained neurosurgeons and consequently save the lives of even more patients.
Coordinated by the WFNS Young Neurosurgeons Forum, the project organises training courses around the world, held by local professors, to improve the psycho-motor skills of neurosurgeons.
The ASINO Foundation decided to finance the eight matches of the GTP 2022: Morocco, Brazil, Cameroon, Venezuela, Kenya, Egypt and Nigeria.
